Ann M. O’Hara represents clients in the areas of estate planning, estate, and trust administration, closely held and family-owned businesses, real estate and federal estate and gift tax law. Ann assists her clients in building their businesses while navigating the complexities of federal and state law. Ann has prepared and implemented revocable and irrevocable trusts, operating agreements, corporate by-laws, buy-sell agreements, and purchase agreements. Ann is a frequent speaker on complex estate planning topics such as IRA Trusts, business succession, and charitable planning.

Ann earned her undergraduate degree in finance from Saint Joseph’s College and received her law degree from the Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis. During law school, Ann worked as an Indiana Inheritance tax analyst for the Indiana Department of Revenue and later served as the Director of the Corporations Division of the Indiana Secretary of State’s Office. Ann joined Dale & Eke in 2021. In 2025, Ann became a Board Certified Indiana Trust and Estate Lawyer by the Indiana State Bar Association Trust and Estate Specialty Board.

In addition to her professional life, Ann is involved in many charitable activities. Ann volunteers as a delivery driver for Meals on Wheels of Hamilton County and serves on the Board of Directors and volunteers for the Humane Society for Hamilton County. Ann also serves on the Board of Directors for OneZone Chamber of Commerce which represents the business communities of Carmel and Fishers as well as Northern Hamilton County.
