Indiana courts closely examine the exact words in these rules, so it is essential to read them carefully.
You should also look at the sections that say who pays if someone gets hurt or property is damaged. These are often called indemnity clauses. Sometimes a contract tries to make you pay for everything. However, Indiana law actually protects you here. It says a general contractor cannot force you to pay for accidents it caused.
