Dale & Eke is taking the COVID-19 outbreak very seriously.  So, for the purpose of maintaining social distancing under CDC guidelines and to promote the health and safety of our clients, visitors and staff and reduce the spread of COVID-19, our physical office will be closed until further notice.

For the time being we are limiting all in-office meetings to those clients and potential clients who are not feeling ill or who have not shown signs of illness.  However, we are recommending that, unless you make other arrangements with your attorney, all client and potential client meetings occur via telephone or video conferencing.  If you have any paperwork for us that you need to drop off, please use the mail slot outside of the front door to our office.

We can still be reached at our office telephone number (317-844-7400). Your call will be answered by our office phone system and you may leave a voicemail in the general mailbox or with a specific attorney. All voicemails left in the general mailbox will be routed to the requested attorney or staff.

You may also email the firm through its website at  www.daleeke.com.

We will continue to monitor this evolving situation and adjust procedures as necessary.  Your health and safety, and the health and safety of our attorneys and staff, is our highest priority.  We thank you for your patience and understanding during these uncertain and unprecedented times.

Real estate investment ideas

Anyone who invests in real estate can tell you, a lot of thought goes into picking the right investment. Things like location, potential and the cost of repairs will all contribute to whether or not a certain property makes sense.

If you are getting started in real estate, you may wonder what some good investment ideas might look like.

Vacation rentals in all-season locations

According to an article in U.S. News, vacation properties can be a great investment opportunity. While some investors may be put off by the seasonality of vacation rentals, this problem is solvable by choosing a vacation home in an all-season location. Locations that are close to both the beach and the mountains, for example, can draw in tourism from both this winter and the summer seasons.

Undeveloped land

Undeveloped land can have a ton of potential when it comes to a return on your investment. Undeveloped land is far less expensive than land that is already built up. If you buy the land at a great price and then develop it yourself, you may end up with a lot more room for profit.

Because of the complexities of building up vacant land, however, this may be a better strategy for more experienced investors.

Industrial buildings

Industrial buildings are often a great investment opportunity if they are located in proximity to major highways. You may be able to receive more income from industrial tenants as opposed to residential occupants. However, this does not necessarily mean your return on investment will be higher.

No matter which area you decide to invest in, be sure to run a complete financial analysis to understand what you will need to bring in from your investment property for a positive ROI.
